Ergonomic Desk Setup

The world has been turned upside down with the recent COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, many will be working from home and may also become more sedentary than usual. Keeping active, even in isolation, is crucial in maintaining both physical and mental health, especially during this stressful period.

If you have relocated your office to your home, a priority will be to prevent new ‘workplace injuries’ by ensuring you have optimal ergonomics in your work space . A physiotherapy evaluated ergonomic desk setup is crucial in preventing workplace aches and pains, and can further assist in preventing the development of chronic conditions such as wrist tendinopathies and chronic lower back pain.

Workplace injuries may include:
