<image:caption>With a whole body dynamic assessment, Enlighten doesn’t just treat your symptoms, but aims to find the driver or cause of your problem, ensuring an accurate diagnosis and development of an individual treatment plan. The driver may not necessarily be the location of your symptoms. Clients are often surprised to learn about the connection between a pelvic floor dysfunction and lower back pain, hip impingement and even jaw and neck pain. An accurate diagnosis will empower you with the knowledge and a unique treatment plan to guide you to your wellbeing goals. Treatment techniques will vary with each individual presentation. These may include, but not limited to, myofascial release, dry needling and western acupuncture, muscle energy techniques and re-education of dynamic movement patterns.</image:caption>

      <image:title>About - About Sophie</image:title>
<image:caption>Born and raised in Sydney, Sophie and her husband Ian moved to the Southern Highlands over 13 years ago motivated by Ian’s interest in farming. After completing her tertiary education in both Medical Science and Physiotherapy, Sophie worked in the NSW public health sector before gaining experience internationally in both the United States and England. Throughout her career, Sophie developed a strong interest in the lumbo-pelvic-hip complex and completed extensive further training in Women’s Health Physiotherapy. With a passion for education, Sophie regularly attends professional development courses to gain holistic and current evidence-based practice skills. She thoroughly enjoys sharing her knowledge with patients, colleagues, friends and also at community events within the Southern Highlands, aiming to eliminate the fear and break the silence attached to women’s health. You will often see Sophie, Ian and their three children Chloe, Elizabeth and Madeleine, within the local Exeter community or at one of the many Highlands playgrounds, parks and cafes.</image:caption>
